Tipping Submission opens at 00:01
AEST on 1st March 2010. Round 1 closes at 18:10 AEST on 25th March
2010.
All Tips are to
be submitted 1hr prior to first game kick off AEST.
In the event of a Match in a given
Round being drawn, cancelled, abandoned, not completed or not played
for any reason and/or does not officially declare a Result within
three (3) days of the date the Match was originally schedule to
be played, it is treated as a loss for both teams competing in that
Match.
Participants will be allocated
one point towards their Score for each correct selection of a winning
team. Participants will be ranked by their Score, where the highest
Score is the highest rank.
All Prizes are subject to change
without notice, prizes will be sent to winners upon reply to confirmation
email that will be sent out to all winners.
In the event of a Member not submitting
tips for any given round, the default will be all away teams up
to a maximum of Four points for the round.
Members who sign up for a Paid
Account will be eligible for any Prize Money at the end of the season.
A symbol will be displayed next to their Tipping Name on the Ladder
to distinguish paying Members from non-paying Members. All non-paying
Members will be entitled to Donated Prizes subject to the rules
of the AFFC. In the event a non-paying Member comes first at the
end of the season, they will receive the first Major Donated Prize
if any were Donated otherwise will receive no prizes or prize money.
This is the same for non-paying Members who come Second, Third and
so on providing Donated Prizes are available otherwise will receive
nothing. All Paying Members are entitled to both Donated Prizes
and Money Prizes and all Prize Money are shown here
when available. Prizes can be withdrawn at any time without notice.
To the extent permitted by law,
the AFFC and its sponsors associated with this Competition are not
liable and do not accept responsibility for:
a) a Participant's tips that are not received or which are received
and subsequently corrupted or rejected by the Web Site server, whether
submitted by the Participant or by an administrator if in respect
of a Group participation.
b) Any lost, misdirected or corrupt emails to or from the Web Site;
c) Any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to direct
or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained:
(i) in connection with a Participants participation in the Competition
or the taking of a place, except that which cannot be excluded by
law; and/or
(ii) relating to the conduct of the Promotion however caused, including
failure of the Web Site or incorrect or corrupt data supplied by
the Promoter to Participant.
The AFFC shall not be liable for
any manufacturer defects in prizes or for any loss, damage or personal
injury whatsoever which is suffered or sustained (including but
not limited to indirect or consequential loss) as a result of taking
a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
During any round, at any time, the AFFC Website
Manager may not be able to update tips or current round and is there
for up to the Member to know the Current Round to submit tips. Due
to service requirements the Website Manager may not be able to reply
to system faults or submission errors, in the event of such errors
or faults email tips directly to tipping@airforcefc.asn.au
with the following:
- Username
- Tipping Name
- Current Round
- All 8 Teams To Win
- First Name
- Last Name
- Email Address
The AFFC Website is run for all
Australian Residents Only and all personal information stored will
not be shared, viewed or distributed to any Member, Participant
or Registered User of the AFFC AFL Football Tipping Competition
except for the Tipping Name displayed on the Ladder Board.
